U.S. Marines conduct a patrol during a simulated Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel, in preparation for the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis-Response Africa 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa on TLZ Swallow, N.C., July 12, 2019. The rehearsal, with instructors from the Expeditionary Operations Training Group, was conducted to maintain high-response time and proficiency in operations as a crisis-response force. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
