Operation Hickory Sting is a decisive action rotation focused on combined arms maneuver and collective gunnery at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA, in order to validate the capabilities of the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team in the decisive action training environment and provide a globally responsive brigade ready to deploy, fight and win.
