Acting U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark T. Esper arrives at NATO Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium, for day two of a defense ministerial on June 27, 2019. During the day Esper met with NATO counterparts to discuss deterrence and defense burden sharing, the Resolute Support mission, and the D-ISIS. Esper also met with Afghan Minister of Defense Asadullah Khalid, held a press briefing, and posed for photos with the Marine Corps Security team before departing for Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
