    U.S. Army Spc. Vincent Bacon, forklift operator, Bravo Company, 578th Brigade Engineering Brigade, 40th Infantry Division, was interviewed during 2019 Annual Training at Camp Roberts Training Base, California, June 20. Bacon spoke of how his decision to join the California Army National Guard was to help others, especially in times of state disasters, such as the fires that devastate communities every year.
