U.S. Navy Cmdr. Clay Pendergrass, Team Special Operations Command (SOCOM) captain, prepares for the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games. The U.S. Special Operations Command will host the competition from June 21-30 in Tampa, Florida. The Warrior Games were established in 2010 as a way to enhance the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, ill and injured service members and expose them to adaptive sports.
