Have you ever seen a Shotgun Demonstration by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit? It's a lot of fun, and sometimes a bit messy. It's also a chance to meet some of the Army's Shotgun National Champions and Olympians.
Watch how these Soldiers are able to hit the targets from all the different angles and positions, and many times, without even using their sites.
Of course, these skills don't happen over night. The USAMU Shotgun Soldiers train on their marksmanship skills for years at Fort Benning, Georgia and compete across the world at National Championships, Pan Am Games, World Cups, and some, even at the Olympics.
When they are not training or competing, these Soldiers share their skills and experiences at demonstrations, clinics and good old-fashioned meet-and-greet events.
