Residents from all over Normandy gathered to watch the Commemorative Airborne Operation over the Iron Mike Drop Zone outside Sainte-Mere-Eglise, France, June 9, 2019. Over one thousand personnel jumped from approximately 23 aircraft to commemorate the airborne operation held on June 6, 1944.
