Brig. Gen. Richard Neely, The Adjutant General, Illinois National Guard, visited several sites, Saturday, June 8th in an effort to visit troops in the field and liaison with media and the other government organizations involved in the 2019 flood effort. Approximately 400 Soldiers of the Illinois National Guard are currently supporting the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. The Illinois National Guard is always ready and has unique capabilities that can assist IEMA in its efforts to protect the citizens of Illinois.
