Elements from the 48th chemical brigade conducted the spring marmot exercise in the west desert testing are at Dugway Proving Ground.
The exercise was initiated to train the units in their core CBRNE or Chemical, Biological, Radiological nuclear and Explosives, competencies and techniques to ensure continuity and standards.
The brigade was made up of military personnel and civilian scientists who came together for the unique and important training event here at DPG.
