Airmen with U.S. Air Forces Africa, along with other U.S. government agencies and 27 African partner nations, have arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to participate in an African Partner Outbreak Response Alliance conference. During APORA, military and civilian leaders will work together to align best practices and improve response capabilities for potential outbreaks of contagious diseases. The training will help bolster relationships with current partners and mobilize new partners to strengthen pandemic prevention programs.
