The U.S. Army Europe Rock Band performs during the closing festivities of the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Nurses Week Celebration May 10. Every year this week, from 06May-12May due to Florence Nightingales birthday being on the 12th. As well as helping the employees to reengage with work and give reassurance that they are appreciated for their dedication to multinational war fighters, military dependents, and Veterans here at LRMC.
LRMC's weeklong celebration included nurse appreciation activities and professional development forums. "We wanted to remind you all the reason why," said LRMC nurse Spc. Brooke Evilsizer, LPN. "Re-engage, rest, treat yourself a little bit so you can get back to that excellent, safe patient care that we do."
