Instructors from the 1st Brigade Engineers, 102d Training Division, conducted a 12N Senior Leaders Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. The course covers many topics and culminates in a situational training exercise. The Popsicle bridge is designed to simulate a larger project. There are certain steps to completing the bridge that must be done in order, and help reinforce which parts of project management can be done sequentially versus concurrently. The max weight held during an SLC class is 402 pounds, and the bridge didn't break there just weren't any more weights. The least amount was 17 pounds.
