The goat went through the Hazmat decontamination line for a health and wellness check during Guardian Response 19 at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center. Local Muscatatuck farmer Rodney Morris cares for Billy the goat as well as other animals on the Muscatatuck farm. Guardian Response 19 is a multi-component training exercise that validates U.S. Army units' ability to support veterinary services in the event of a natural disaster. Soldiers train on a wide variety of tasks to include decontamination points, search and rescue operations, medical evacuations, and veterinary services.
