Lauren Seal a veterinarian technician, with 438th medical detachment veterinary services support based in Fort Carson Colorado examines local farm animals at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Indiana, May 2, 2019. The animals are given a real world health and wellness examination during Guardian Response 19 at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center. Local Muscatatuck farmer Rodney Morris assist in caring for all animals on the Muscatatuck farm. Guardian Response 19 is a multi-component training exercise that validates U.S. Army units' ability to support veterinary services in the event of a natural disaster. Soldiers train on a wide variety of tasks to include decontamination points, search and rescue operations, medical evacuations, and veterinary services.
