Tech, Sgt. John Stalnik, Air Force Combat Ammunition Center advisor, talks about his experience at the inaugural Air Force Combat Operations Competition in 2018 and was victorious with his team from Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. Munitions teams from around the Air Force have been officially selected to compete in the second-annual AFCOCOMP set to take place at Beale AFB, Calif., May 13-17, at the Air Force Combat Ammunitions Center.
- I think some of the best training I got was here at AFCOMAC and then preparing for AFCOCOMP and actually competing in AFCOCOMP. I'm Tech Sergeant, John Stalnik, I'm an AFCOMAC combat advisor here at Beale Air Force Base. It's gonna be cool to see the changes and the new types of events and the implements, or the changes that we're gonna implement. Now, last year, being the inaugural, AFCOCOMP was awesome to see for the first time. I competed with Holloman Air Force Base and won. With our career field doing our day-to-day job, and then being able to implement that into a competition and then bringing teams from around the world, you know, it's like the Superbowl of ammo. It was really cool to change that perspective. (upbeat music)
