Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in volunteer events hosted by the Single Marine Program at locations across Okinawa, Japan, April 18-26, 2019. During the SMP’s Days of Service week, 31st MEU Marines helped give back to the local community during outreach events across Okinawa. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
