When Giorgio Graziano served as an officer in the Italian Army, he was an airborne soldier, trained to parachute into combat. Now a civilian, Graziano packs parachutes for the European Paratroopers Association, a non-governmental organisation based in Slovakia. It’s an important job, he says, and one he prefers to do in silence.
