An overview of the Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services at Tripler Army Medical Center; comprised of 171 laboratory professionals to provide both anatomic and clinical pathology services, to include approximately one million tests per year in support of clinical operations at Tripler and surrounding military treatment facilities; and conducting approximately 139 blood donor drives per year and over 3700 whole blood, platelet, and plasma units per year for use at Tripler and contingency operations around the world.
