190423-N-PL946-1001 GREAT LAKES, Ill. (April 23, 2019) A time-lapse compilation of Recruit Training Command (RTC) staff and recruits participating in a 1.5-mile run in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM). More than 4,000 recruits from 39 divisions participated in RTC’s first ever run held spotlighting the work of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program(SAPR). The 2019 SAAPM theme is “Protecting Our People Protects Our Mission.” More than 35,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp.
