High in the Colorado mountains, rotary wing pilots from all over the world train on power management techniques at the High Altitude Army National Guard Aviation Training Site of the Colorado National Guard. Maintainers are charged with keeping the training aides ready for flight.

HAATS operated by the Colorado National Guard, trains up to 400 students a year about power management in high altitude situations on various rotary wing airframes.
