    3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade

U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Kyle Quach flies an A-10 Thunderbolt II for a simulated close air support mission in the Philippines during Exercise Balikatan, April 9, 2019. Balikatan is an annual exercise between the U.S. and Philippines and comes from a Tagalog phrase meaning "shoulder-to-shoulder," representing the partnership between the two countries. The exercise promotes regional security and humanitarian efforts for U.S. allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region. Quach is an A-10 pilot assigned to the 25th Fighter Squadron at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. (U.S. Air Force video by Senior Airman Michael Jones)
