During World War II in 1942 over 60,000 American and Filipino prisoners of war were forced by the Imperial Japanese Army to march about 60 miles. During the march, POW’s received very little food or water leading to an estimated 18000 deaths. For the 7th year in a row Kadena Top Three has held a memorial march to honor the individuals that trekked through this five day march.
