Members of the 176th Wing Air National Guard participated in routine emergency water egress scenarios. HC-130J crews were drug by volunteers through the water to simulate a parachute being drug by wind. HH-60 crews had to additionally be strapped into a mock helicopter body and safely escape. These exercises are designed for aviators, to demonstrate simulated emergency egress capabilities and certain survival training skills.
