U.S. Marines with Marine Air Control Squadron 1 participate in Pacific Blitz 2019. The Squadron conducted an amphibious landing on a with Navy counterparts, built a integrated command and control system and employed AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar to provide air surveillance to the Marine Air-Ground Task Force. Pacific Blitz provides relevant training that replicates a realistic maritime threat environment designed to improve naval amphibious core competencies necessary for effective, global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
