Coast Guard crews commission the Coast Guard Cutter Terrell Horne during a ceremony at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles/Long Beach in San Pedro, California, March 22, 2019. The Horne is the service’s 31st Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter and is named after Senior Chief Petty Officer Terrell Horne, who perished December 2, 2012 during the interdiction of a smuggling vessel off the California coast as a crewmember aboard Coast Guard Cutter Halibut. The Horne will patrol the waters off the California coast and Eastern Pacific Ocean. (U.S. Coast Guard video by Petty Officer 2nd Class Joel Guzman/released)
