190309-N-RU084-2001 OXNARD, CALIF. (Mar. 09, 2019) – Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 (NMCB-5) construct a road using heavy equipment during Pacific Blitz 2019 (PB19). The new road will connect the I Marine Expeditionary Force (1 MEF) and the NMCB-5 camps giving them the ability to practice military base construction and maintenance in a joint environment. Working hand-in-hand, the Navy expeditionary force and Marine Logistics Group capabilities complement each other in the building of advanced naval bases.
