Naval Air Facility Atsugi hosted the 8th annual Tomodachi Bowl at Reid Field, March 10. Department of Defense Education Activity students from the region formed Team USA and Japanese first year college students formed Team Rising Sun. The Tomodachi Bowl is an annual event held in remembrance of Operation Tomodachi, the name given to the combined relief efforts of the U.S. and Japan in the wake of the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
