PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 19, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile
destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101) launched a Standard Missile (SM) 2 during a
missile exercise (MISSILEX) led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting
Development Center (SMWDC). The MISSILEX is designed to increase warfighting
proficiency, readiness, and interoperability of participating units. (U.S.
