Airmen with the 36th Airlift Squadron from Yokota Air Base, Japan fly to the Republic of Korea to retrieve one of three bells that were taken from Balangiga, Philippines by U.S. troops during the Filipino-American war in 1901. After, they flew to Kadena Air Base, Japan to retrieve the other two bells and continued to Manila, Philippines to return all three bells to the people of the Philippines after 117 years, on December 11, 2018.
