U.S. Indo-Pacific Commander, Adm. Phil Davidson discusses his first-hand experience of Operation Christmas Drop aboard a 374th Air Wing C130J December 10, 2018. Operation Christmas Drop 2018 is a trilateral training event held from December 8-17, 2018. The U.S. Air Force, Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will conduct training to include Low-Cost Low-Altitude (LCLA) airdrop tactics and procedures over unsurveyed drop zones while providing critical supplies to 56 Micronesian islands.(U.S. Air Force U.S. Air Force video by Air Force Staff Sgt.
