In two separate cases, a Coast Guard Sector Columbia River aircrew hoisted a surfer in distress in Willapa Bay, Wash., and a Coast Guard Air Facility Newport aircrew recovered an unconscious surfer at Devil's Punchbowl in Oregon on Dec. 1, 2018.
