Former President George H.W. Bush will be honored with a state funeral at the Washington National Cathedral, Dec. 5, 2018. Bush, the 41st president of the United States, joined the military at age 18 and was one of the youngest pilots in the Navy at the time, serving as a World War II naval aviator.
