Louisiana-based Carver Scientific, participating in research under and Air Force Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Program Phase II award are developing a micro-climate, heating and cooling product for military operators and first responders. The unit weights less than a pound and is designed to enhance homestatis for wearers in a variety of domains.
The human-centered engineering small business demonstrated and tested the technology with military special operators and Ohio first responders during the Tech Warrior OPS event in April 2018.
