Europe District, in partnership with the NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) International School, is constructing a new campus using multiple funding sources to replace 50-year-old school infrastructure for over 1,500 military children (student body currently from 16 NATO allies and 20+ Partner for Peace countries). This effort continues the tradition of international partnerships and keeps SHAPE a desirable place for NATO military assignments. We celebrated the completion of 2 buildings, which house the German and UK and Canada schools, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 9, 2018.
