    During NATO Exercise Trident Juncture 2018, Croatian allies stand up a Communication Information System assisting in the Command and Control flow of information in the theatre of operations.

    Around 50,000 participants, 250 aircraft, 65 ships and up to 10,000 vehicles from more than 30 nations.

    “Croatian contribution during Trident Juncture 18 exercise is that we have a total of thirty participants on this exercise, JLSG, Joint Logistics Support Group. We have a couple of Croatian staff officers this exercise and twenty-five participants from DCM Foxtrot. We are force enablers as a communications and we are connecting forces.”

    “To give participants, to give the units, to give the soldiers ability to communicate to exchange information in real time.”

    Question 3: What challenges did you encounter on CIS areas here in Norway?
    “Actually we are lucky that this is not our first NATO exercise. We’ve supported many of them, we take participation in some NATO led missions, Resolute Support in Afghanistan, NATO support to Turkey, but for this exercise specific a challenge we had was this environment, the weather. Some challenges we with satellite communications but at the end we successfully solved all the that we had and we are supporting our users, LOPSCON headquarters in the best way. ”

    “Of course, it was really useful because we had the opportunity to meet some new people, to make some new connections in NATO environment.”
