US Vice Admiral Lisa Franchetti visits Norwegian frigate HNoMS Otto Sverdrup while at sea near Trondheim, Norway during NATO exercise Trident Juncture 2018. Vice Admiral Franchetti is the U.S. Commander of 6th Fleet, Striking and Support Forces NATO/Deputy Commander. HNoMS Otto Sverdrup is one of 65 other sea vessels taking part in Trident Juncture.
Exercise Trident Juncture 2018 brings together around 50,000 personnel, 10,000 vehicles, 65 ships and 250 aircraft from 31 NATO Allies and partner nations. Held in Norway, the NATO exercise starts on 25 October and continues through 7 November.
