A Norwegian Air defense unit was deployed on top of the highest mountain in the vicinity of Alvdal village, during Trident Juncture. Fire Unit B (Bravo) is part of the Air Defense Battalion of the Norwegian 132 Air Wing. The unit is equipped of the ANMP 64 radar, the MSP500 Electro Optic Sensor, an operator trailer, and various transmitting antennas. The entire system is knows as NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System).
Footage includes various views of the NASAMS on top of the mountain and the landing of a Norwegian Bell helicopter.
