Alaska Army National Guardsmen participate in Exercise Khaan Quest 2018 in and around Ulaanbaatar and the Five Hills Training Area, Mongolia, June 14-28. KQ18 is a Peace Keeping Operations-focused, combined training event between U.S. Pacific Command and the Mongolian Armed Forces. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and U.S. Army Pacific have been conducting PKO-focused combined training with the MAF since 2003; this year’s exercise marks the 16th iteration of Khaan Quest.
