Troopers from the 289th Quartermaster Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade, conduct final preparations and depart Fort Hood on Nov. 2 in support of Operation Faithful Patriot. The Soldiers are slated to provide logistics support to U.S. Customs and Border Protection missions near the U.S. and Mexico border.
