Marines and Sailors execute an amphibious landing during Trident Juncture 18
in Alvund, Norway Oct. 30, 2018. The Norwegian geography and climate
provides a unique training environment for Marines and Sailors to help
strengthen forces and enhance combat readiness. Light armored vehicles and
amphibious assault vehicles with the 24th MEU originated from USS New York
(LPD 21) and rapidly flowed their combat power ashore in support of the
exercise. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl. Gumchol Cho)
