JFC Naples Commander Admiral James G. Foggo, Croatian Brigadier General Danko Pintaric, Joint Logistics Support Group Commander, and Rear Admiral (Lower Half) Runi Sommer, Head of the Norwegian Liaison to Joint Logistics Support Group, tour the progress thus far for Trident Juncture 2018 at a training ground in Sessvollmoen, Norway. The unit is part of NATO’s Very High Readiness Joint Task Force, which is exercising in Norway as part of Trident Juncture 2018.
NATO and Norway are holding one of the largest military exercises ever held in the country. During October and November, around 50,000 participants from all over NATO and its partners have come to Norway for exercise Trident Juncture 2018. The exercise tests the whole military chain – from troop training at the tactical level, to command over large forces. It trains the troops of the NATO Response Force and forces from other allies and partners, ensuring they can work seamlessly together.
