A C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from the 167th Airlift Wing transported six generators and a large area maintenance shelter from the 635th Material Maintenance Squadron, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., to Tyndall AFB, Fla., Oct. 18, 2018. A civil response team from the 821st Civil Response Group, Travis AFB, Calif. assisted with the offload of the basic expeditionary airfield resources. Hurricane Michael made landfall Oct. 10th as a Category 4 Hurricane, Tyndall AFB was directly in its path.
