The 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron's Consolidated Aircraft Part Store (CAPS) has over 349,000 items in stock daily to ensure maintainers have critical aircraft parts and supplies to do their job. The facility is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Duties include providing a "crucial inventory" for seven different airframes, as well as supporting deliveries to forward operating basses in the AOR. "We're supporting the mission in the air by providing the aircraft parts that are required to fix the airplanes on the flight line - so they can fly," said Master Sgt. Ted Shaffer, 379th ELRS MRSP/CAPS section chief.
