Sector North Carolina Coast Guard coordinated with federal, state and local agencies to respond to flooding from Hurricane Florence.

Sector North Carolina was responsible for the rescues of 258 people and 205 pets via shallow-water response boat teams since Hurricane Florence made landfall Sept. 12, 2018.
