    Soldiers with the South Carolina Army National Guard's 122nd Engineer Battalion drop off dirt alongside the northbound lane of U.S. 501 to be used to stop rising floodwaters in Conway, S.C., Sept. 16, 2018. Working in conjunction with the South Carolina Department of Transportation, Soldiers with the battalion are using a variety of equipment and barriers to combat flooding throughout the area.
