Lt. Gen. Nadja West, Army Surgeon General and U.S. Army Medical Command, Commanding General, visited Army medical Soldiers at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, September 6, 2018.
Lt. Gen. West was on ground to see the progress made during the 528th Hospital Center's Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise, which seeks to validate the hospital center concept and organizational structure.
The hospital center consists of 48 intensive care beds and 100 intermediate care ward beds. Medical services include: surgery, dental pharmacy, lab/blood, radiology and computerized tomography.
