The Army Field Band is performing its summer concert at Ft. Meade on Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at Constitution Park. The concert will feature the 1812 Overture, the Army Drill Team and the Continental Color Guard. Kids and adults will enjoy the free, family-friendly concert featuring live cannon fire and snow cone and food vendors. The Army Field Band will perform the Army Story Show for the first time at Ft. Meade. Since 1775, the Army has been an integral part of our nation's journey, through times of struggle and innovation. The Army Story Show brings you the music that has had a large impact on American culture and the perception of Soldiers' lives and sacrifices. Through musical and visual elements, the Army Story Show reminds Americans of the contributions, service and sacrifice of our Soldiers.
