Marine Wing Support Detachment (MWSD) 31 conducts a Base Recovery After Attack (BRAAT) exercise aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Aug. 8. The exercise simulated the aftermath of an attack, the response and execution of recovering equipment and injured personnel. Completion of this exercise ensured that MWSD-31 can provide limited aviation ground support to a composite Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) and supporting elements of the Marine Air Control Group (MACG) to conduct expeditionary operations.
