NORFOLK, Va. (August 10, 2018) - Video of Capt. Richard McCormack being relieved as USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) commanding officer by Capt. John Cummings, during a change of command ceremony held on Naval Station Norfolk. The change of command ceremony is a time honored Naval tradition in which the transfer of responsibility, authority, and accountability occurs from one individual to another individual.
