10th Mountain Division soldiers participate in a Situational Training Exercise on July 31, 2018, at a range in Arta, Djibouti. 10th Mountain Division soldiers utilize STX as a way to practice moving and maneuvering, and calling in medical evacuations and artillery fire. By staying proficient in these skills, they are better prepared to deploy forces to protect American interests on the continent of Africa as part of the East Africa Response Force.
